2nd Floor Addition

The main goal for renovating this 1950’s Cape Cod style home was the need for additional bedrooms and expanded living space. The inspiration for the Arts and Crafts style architecture came from the neighborhood as the client desired to create a style to compliment the period style of the existing homes in the neighborhood. Both goals were successfully accomplished by slightly expanding the footprint on one side and adding to the second level to create more living space and by incorporating traditional stained wood features such as roof brackets, doors and the wrap-around porch railings to emulate the Arts And Crafts style.
